As an exercise in procrastination...anything is better than what I SHOULD be doing...I have been going through Henry's clothing to see just what he has. A lot of the boy clothing I have is very specifically his - there is still plenty for the other lads as well, so don't worry, but yes Henry is rather special and has more than the others, but they all do each have some things that are particular to them.
Anyway starting off we have Henry's dressing up costumes.
The fabulous cowboy outfit that we received in the 2012 Secret Santa Swap from Norvell.
Henry loves this outfit, especially when playing 'Cowboys and Indians', although he said so far they only have one horse and no Indians! Looks like that might be a hint for at least another costume...we might have to ignore the one about wanting another horse.
Next up is his fabulous Harry Potter outfit and accessories that he received in the 'Back to School' Swap last year from Charla. You might recall he almost got into trouble for using magic on poor Rory's frogs.
The King Henry V costume I made for Henry in the Dress a Sasha competition at the 2012 Sasha Festival.
Henry also has a crown and a knights helmet not yet photographed to add to this ensemble.
Henry's Train Driver outfit that I made for his holiday in Devon in 2012
Henry's Olympics outfit that he received at the Sasha Festival 2012 (Missing is the picture of the shorts and top, but Henry is shown below wearing it)
I can see at least one more costume that would be quite appropriate for Henry, especially in light of his upcoming holiday and that is a traditional Maori costume. I might make this while in NZ as I will be more likely able to get the supplies needed to make it.
Next up: Knitwear.
